Dr JohnMushomi holds a PhD in Population Studies from Makerere University, Uganda, a Masters Degree in Demography from the Cairo Demographic Center, Egypt, a Post Graduate Diploma in Population and Development from the Cairo Demographic Center, Egypt, a Post Graduate Diploma in Demography from the Cairo Demographic Center, Egypt and a Bachelors of Social Sciences (Sociology) from Makerere University. He is a visiting scholar at the African Migration and Development Policy Centre (AMADPOC), Nairobi. His current research focuses on Youth Migration in Eastern and Southern Africa, modeling Demographic Dividend prospects for Uganda. He also consults with various government Departments in Uganda.
