About GDPRC

Governance, Development and Peace Research Centre (GDPRC) is an independent research, training, mentorship, institutional and community support Company based in Uganda.

GDPRC started in 2015 as loose network of individual experts in research, training, and advisory services. In 2018, GDPRC was incorporated as a Company. The GDPRC founders realized that sustainable development can only be realized through strong institutions (both public and private) and evidence based interventions; therefore, responded to this need by establishing GDPRC to support institutions’ strategic planning, programme implementation, monitoring, evaluation, research, training and mentorship.

Over time, our individual team members provided high quality knowledge and policy oriented services to national and international development agencies like; Equal Opportunities Commission, Directorate of Government Analytical Laboratory, Trócaire Uganda, DanChurchAid, International Conference of the Great Lakes Region, United Nations Children’s Fund, and the World Bank among many others.   .

GDPRC provides cutting-edge, human rights based  action research, consulting, research, training, management, advisory, strategic support services and mentoring services in the areas of sustainable human development, economic growth, humanitarian assistance, peace, human rights based programming, peace, humanitarian response and conflict analysis and human good governance.

GDPRC supports government institutions, non-government organizations, multi-lateral and bi-lateral agencies to develop and implement innovative solutions to complex challenges to influence both policy and practice.
